High pressure-high temperature microfluidic chamber, Design work

Patent. In this work, I designed and conducted experiments under high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions for several projects, including the development of green solvents for bitumen recovery and studies on biodegradation under reservoir conditions. Dr. Roj Mehta was the advisor in this project.

Prediction of asphaltene precipitation and deposition using PVTsim and Multiphase Flash

Patent. In this work, I designed and conducted experiments under high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions for several projects, including the development of green solvents for bitumen recovery and studies on biodegradation under reservoir conditions. Biodegradations of polymers in hydraulic fracturing in dynamic mode

In this project, conducted in collaboration with the Biosciences Department at the University of Calgary, cattle manure was used as a source for enzyme extraction. These enzymes were then applied in a high-pressure, high-temperature microfluidic setup designed to simulate hydraulic fracturing conditions and study polymer degradation.

​Field scale simulation of a reservoir with mature condition to extract the residual oil

In this project, one the mature oil field with 28 wells were simuated using Eclipse 300.

Simulation of carbonated water injection (CWI) using CMG-GEM

This is the experimental and simulation (CMG) results is part of my PhD thesis on injection CO2 mixed in water at 85C and 4500 psi.

Effect of enzymes on polymer breakdown at 80C and 2-4000 psi

In this work, we tested the activity of enzymes at high pressure of 4000 psi and temperature of 80C at bioscience departement-UofC.
